Laura joined Hato Hone St John in January 2023 and moved into the role of Director of the Office of the Chief Executive in June 2024.

As the lead for the Office of the Chief Executive Directorate, Laura works closely with the Chief Executive, and oversees all aspects of the wider team.

Laura’s portfolio includes strategy development, strategic planning, project definition and delivery, government and external stakeholder relations, external policy submissions and advocacy, strategic governance, executive team programme management and promoting the work of the Order of St John in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Originally from Scotland, Laura has a strong background in strategy and transformation, having worked in a variety of in-house and consulting roles in a number of industries, including healthcare, public sector, FMCG and financial services.
