Peter Bradley’s career in the emergency ambulance service spans over 35 years. Peter joined St John in the late 70s where he worked as a paramedic and senior operational manager for a number of years prior to moving back to the UK in 1996, to join London Ambulance Service (LAS) as Director of Operations. In the year 2000, he was s appointed Chief Executive of the LAS.
Peter was also the Chairman of the UK Association of Ambulance Chief Executives and National Director of Ambulance Services for the UK’s Department of Health from 2004 to 2012 and led a strategic review of the National Health Service ambulance services.
Peter returned to New Zealand in 2012 and became Chief Executive of Hato Hone St John. During his time as Chief Executive, Peter has overseen the significant growth, development and improvement of all of its services, and is proud to lead such a wonderful organisation.
