Brendan was appointed as the Deputy Chancellor in June 2021, and commenced his second term in 2024 He is a Senior Lecturer / Programme Leader in the Department of Paramedicine at the Auckland University of Technology. He is a Registered Paramedic and chairs the St John Clinical Governance Committee. Brendan is passionate about the emergence of paramedicine as a registered health profession and is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Paramedicine.
