Brent has volunteered or worked in most areas of Hato Hone St John over his 48 years of service, including youth, operations, area committee and Order Matters. He has also previously served on Priory Chapter.

Other governance experience for Brent has included local and national organisations in the health and social service sectors, including Chamber of Commerce, Cambridge Resthaven and Waipa Community Trust. 

Brent is an experienced manager with more than 20 years of service leading in the not-for-profit sector. He is currently working as District Manager for Manaaki Tangata Victim Support
