Explore first aid requirements for your workplace
In Aotearoa New Zealand, workplaces must make sure their employees have access to first aid equipment and facilities, as well as people who are trained in first aid. People must be protected from mental as well as physical workplace health and safety risks. You’ll also need someone who regularly reviews your first aid arrangements to make sure they’re still working well for your workplace.
Mahi Haumaru Aotearoa (WorkSafe New Zealand) is the country’s workplace health and safety regulator, and getting familiar with their requirements is a great place to start.
