Hato Hone St John is experiencing an increase in demand in both the Auckland and Waikato regions, coupled with an increase in staff related illness.
If you have an emergency, you should still dial 111. If your call is not immediately life threatening, you may experience a delay or may be asked to self-transport to hospital or a medical clinic if it is considered safe for you to do so.
For all non-emergencies we are asking people to consider accessing the health service they need through their GP, Healthline, Plunketline or Pharmacy.
