In 2017 a number of internal training videos for St John were filmed against a backdrop of items that were associated with pop culture that year, including a MAGA hat. At the time staff who arranged the setup did not appreciate the symbolism of the item and the offense it causes.
Concerns were raised at the time this video was released which our management team took very seriously. The video was taken down and later republished with the hat blurred out. Until alerted we were unaware that an original copy of this video still existed. We have asked that our internal teams re-check all video podcasts to ensure none still contain the item.
The symbolism associated with item does not in any way align with St John’s values and we apologise for its inclusion in this video.
