Statement on stolen ambulance in Invercargill

Hato Hone St John can confirm that an ambulance was briefly stolen while the attending crew were assessing a patient during a call out in Invercargill early on Monday 30 June.      

The two ambulance staff were shaken from the ordeal but uninjured. Police were quickly on the scene to apprehend the offender. 

Hato Hone St John is providing support to our people and will assist NZ Police in its enquiries.
