Our fun, interactive and engaging schools programme teaches tamariki (children) how to be lifesavers in an emergency, how to avoid injury, and about becoming guardians of wellbeing in their community.
Engaging and interactive
These fun learning sessions are taught by our Community Educators at schools, to a class or group of classes.
Life skills learning
Children learn how to respond to an emergency, and how to keep safe. Year 7-8 children also learn how to call 111, do CPR and use an AED.
Nationwide programme
We visit schools across the motu (country), teaching pre-school, primary and intermediate school children these vital skills.
How it works
The programme has been created with expertise from ACC, SafeKids Aotearoa, Civil Defence, CORE Education and Hato Hone St John. It's divided into modules and delivered at your school. Classes are between 45-90 mins.
Just select the module that fits your students' age groups and educational needs.
