Is there a cost?

There is no fee for this service, however Hato Hone St John is a charitable organisation so a gold coin contribution per child is greatly appreciated.

How many children can be taught at one time?

Usually one class group at a time.

Will the course cover any sensitive issues?

Occasionally, some children may find some content upsetting. We encourage teachers to talk with the ASB St John in School educators before the session about any circumstances or topics which should be avoided or managed.

Is there a second level to the programme if my child/the children have already learnt the basics?

The programme is designed to build on itself, so children learn new skills each year and are also reminded of the key components of what they learned in the previous year.
